Why I Wrote This:
When women talk about pregnancy and motherhood, the hardest parts tend to take center stage. Those conversations matter — but I noticed that positive experiences are often shared quietly, if at all. Not because they aren’t real, but because women are careful not to overshadow someone else’s struggle.
As I prepared for pregnancy, I found myself holding onto the few encouraging stories I heard. They didn’t promise that everything would be easy — they simply reminded me that pregnancy could be navigated with confidence, support, and a sense of agency. Those voices became a steady presence for me through each phase.
This guide is my way of passing that encouragement forward. Through nutrition and movement — informed by both research & lived experience — I aim to offer reassurance, perspective, & support during a season that can feel uncertain. This guide isn’t meant to define what pregnancy should look like, but to provide a grounded place to return to when things feel overwhelming. If it helps even one person feel more steady or hopeful, it has done its job.
